Hamaco Lift Tables: Electric Mechanical Lift Tables & Hydraulic Lift Carts
Ball screw electric lift tables, electric-hydraulic lift tables, foot-pump hydraulic lift carts and a lift and tilt table. Japanese-engineered lift tables, supported in the US by Hamaco Industries in Georgia. Quoted, delivered and supported by our team.
Who Hamaco Is, and Why We Carry Them
Hamaco Industries Corporation is the US arm of Hamada Industry Co., Ltd. of Japan, supported from Georgia. Hamaco is a lift table specialist. It is best known for “mechanical” electric lift tables that raise the platform with a ball screw driven by a brushless motor, the same type of motor used in hybrid cars, instead of a hydraulic pump. Hamaco showed that mechanical lift table line to the US market at MODEX 2014.
Nearly everything Hamaco makes is a lift table of some kind: ball screw electric lift tables, electric-hydraulic lift tables, foot-pump hydraulic lift carts, and a lift and tilt table. In Japan, Hamaco says it holds about 70% of the market for hydraulic foot-operated lifters. It also makes a few ergonomic extras, such as a pallet leveler and pallet trucks. If you need one of those, ask us for a quote.
We carry Hamaco because an electric lift table that runs on ordinary shop power and uses no hydraulic oil solves problems a standard hydraulic table can’t: clean areas, bench-height work, and stations where a slowly sinking load is not acceptable. Our part is matching the series to your load, height and power, quoting it, and getting it to your door.
What Actually Sets Hamaco Apart
Hamaco’s edge is how its lift tables lift. These four points come from Hamaco’s own published material.
No oil, and no drift
Hamaco’s mechanical lift tables use a ball screw instead of a hydraulic cylinder. There is no hydraulic fluid, so there is nothing to leak onto the floor or the product. Hamaco says the load holds its height without creeping down, positioning is accurate, speed stays steady as the load changes, and the table runs quieter than a hydraulic unit.
IPM brushless motor with vector control
The drive is an interior permanent magnet (IPM) brushless motor. Hamaco says it uses up to 30% less power than a conventional SPM motor. Vector control gives smooth starts, accurate stops and steady speed whatever the load, and with no brushes there are no brushes to wear out.
Heavy loads on standard 110V power
Hamaco says its lifters can raise one metric ton on a 110V supply. The 2,205 lb MLP-1000 and MLI-1000 models are listed at 110–115V single phase, so many stations need no new three-phase drop.
MLI rated for 100,000 continuous cycles
Hamaco rates its MLI Heavy Duty series for up to 100,000 continuous cycles. If the table moves on every part rather than every pallet, that rating is the number to compare.

Electric Mechanical (Ball Screw) Lift Tables
This is the heart of the Hamaco line. A ball screw electric lift table raises the platform with a motor-driven screw, not hydraulic oil. It suits clean areas, bench-height work and any station where the load has to stay exactly where you set it. Bellows skirts, a turntable top and a synchronized two-unit setup are available on some series.

Electric-Hydraulic Lift Tables
When a station needs a conventional powered scissor lift table, Hamaco builds the MLE: an electric-hydraulic table with a high-rigidity frame and built-in cylinders. Our MLE listing runs up to 4,409 lbs on 220V three-phase power, with standard or full bellows. Ask us to confirm the model that fits your load and platform.

Standard or full bellows
Hydraulic Lift Carts & Mobile Lift Tables
Hamaco’s HLH hydraulic lift carts are mobile lift tables you raise with a foot pump. They need no power, so they roll from station to station and bring the work to a comfortable height wherever it lands. Hamaco says the HLH Standard drifts no more than 2% over 15 minutes. Versions include standard, aluminum, roller-top, bellows, stainless steel, handle-less and ultra-low.

HLH Work Carts
Up to 2,205 lbs
Foot pump, raised heights 23.6 – 67.9 in.

HLH Roller Conveyor Carts
287 – 992 lbs
Roller top, built-in stopper, braked casters
HLH Stainless Steel
SUS304 stainless steel
Washable and water-resistant
HLH Ultra-Low
Ultra-low lift cart
Lowers to 3.2 in.
Hamaco’s roller-top range goes up to 1,984 lbs. The models listed on our site cover 287 to 992 lbs; ask us for the heavier ones.
Lift and Tilt Table
The MLI Tilt combines a ball screw lift with a 45° tilt. Hamaco designed it so carts can be loaded as they are for assembly work, with the part raised and angled toward the operator instead of the operator bending over it.

MLI Tilt — MLI-1000-1013TILT
2,205 lbs
30.7 in. lift stroke, 45° tilt
Ball Screw vs. Hydraulic: Which Hamaco Lift Do You Need?
Hamaco builds both kinds of lift table. The right one depends on whether oil is allowed, what power you have at the station, and whether the load has to move.
| Ball screw electric (MLP, MLI, MLM) | Electric-hydraulic (MLE) | Hydraulic lift cart (HLH) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it lifts | Motor turns a ball screw | Electric pump and hydraulic cylinders | Foot pump and hydraulic cylinder |
| Hydraulic oil | None | Yes | Yes |
| Power needed | 110–115V single phase up to 2,205 lbs; 220V three phase on heavier MLI models | 220V three phase (our listing) | None, foot operated |
| Capacity | 220 – 4,410 lbs | Up to 4,409 lbs (our listing) | Up to 2,205 lbs |
| Moves around the floor? | No, stationary | No, stationary | Yes, on casters |
| Pick it when | Oil is not allowed, or the load has to hold an exact height | You want a conventional powered scissor table and have three-phase power | The load has to travel between stations |
Not sure which fits? Tell us the load, the height and what power is at the station. That is usually enough to point you to one series.
Where Hamaco Lift Tables Go to Work
Hamaco lift tables are built for ergonomic work: bringing the job to a comfortable height to cut bending and repetitive strain.
What We Need From You to Quote a Hamaco Unit
Hamaco’s lineup splits on a few simple questions. Answer these and we can point you to the right series and give you a real number.
| What we ask | Why it changes the machine |
|---|---|
| Load weight | The heaviest item, plus any fixture or container. This sets the series and size |
| Platform size | The footprint of the load |
| Lowered and raised height | A low lowered height helps when loading hand carts; tall raised heights need high-lift models |
| Stationary or mobile | Stationary points to MLP, MLI or MLE; mobile points to an HLH lift cart |
| Power at the work spot | 110–115V single phase or 220V three phase, at the station itself |
| How often it cycles | Lifts per hour or per shift |
| Options and environment | Bellows, roller top, tilt, turntable top, stainless or aluminum, hand or foot control, no-oil requirement |
| Ship-to address | Dock or liftgate needs, for the LTL freight or local delivery in your quote |
Don’t have all of it? Send what you have. A photo of the station and a description of what you are lifting is a fine start, and we will ask the rest.
Common Questions
Does B&C Industrial sell Hamaco lift tables?
Yes. B&C Industrial Products quotes, supplies and supports Hamaco lift tables and lift carts nationwide. Every quote includes LTL freight or local delivery.
What is a mechanical (ball screw) lift table, and how is it different from a hydraulic lift table?
A mechanical lift table raises the platform with an electric motor turning a ball screw. A hydraulic lift table uses a pump pushing oil into a cylinder. Hamaco says its ball screw tables use no hydraulic oil, hold their height without creeping down, position accurately and run quieter. A hydraulic table is the familiar choice for general lifting; a ball screw table fits clean areas and stations where the height has to stay exactly put.
Can a Hamaco electric lift table run on a standard 110V outlet?
Many can. Hamaco says its lifters can raise one metric ton on 110V power, and the 2,205 lb MLP-1000 and MLI-1000 models are listed at 110–115V single phase. Heavier MLI models and the MLI Tilt lift use 220V three phase, and our MLE listing is 220V three phase. Tell us what power is at the station and we will match the model.
Which Hamaco hydraulic lift cart do I need?
Start with weight and how the load gets on and off. HLH work carts handle up to 2,205 lbs and come in standard, high-lift and bellows versions. Roller-top HLH carts let you slide product on and off. The stainless steel version is washable for wet areas, and the ultra-low version lowers to 3.2 in. All are foot-pump operated and need no power.
Does Hamaco make a lift and tilt table?
Yes. The MLI Tilt (MLI-1000-1013TILT) lifts 2,205 lbs with a 30.7 in. stroke and tilts to 45°. Hamaco designed it so carts can be loaded as they are for assembly work.
What warranty comes with Hamaco equipment?
Warranty terms vary by model. We confirm them with Hamaco and include them with your quote, so you know the terms before you order.
