(KD) Kineti-Glide Duo
Kineti-Glide Duo dual wheel casters carry the load on two blue polyurethane wheels sharing one axle, a quarter of an inch apart. Because each wheel turns at its own speed, the tread stops scrubbing sideways through corners and the small course corrections that fill a normal cart route.
6″ and 8″ diameters, 1,500 to 2,400 lb, in rigid, reinforced rigid and kingpinless swivel rigs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a dual wheel caster?
A dual wheel caster, also called a twin wheel caster, carries the load on two wheels mounted side by side on a shared axle instead of one wide wheel. The two wheels can turn at different speeds, which is what stops the tread dragging sideways when the cart changes direction. It also lets the caster reach a given capacity without going to a taller wheel, which matters when deck height is fixed.
What capacities do Kineti-Glide Duo casters come in?
1,500 lb on 6-inch wheels, and 2,000 to 2,400 lb on 8-inch wheels depending on the rig. The reinforced rigid and extended swivel lead models reach the top of that range. Check the specifications on each product for the exact rating.
Can I get a Kineti-Glide Duo caster with a toe guard?
Yes, on selected rigid and kingpinless models. The toe guard is cast into the yoke as one piece rather than bolted on, so there is nothing separate to order or install and nothing that adds rolling resistance. The toe guard and top hat versions of the same rig carry identical capacity ratings, so the guard costs you nothing in load.
What does extended swivel lead mean?
Swivel lead is the horizontal offset between the swivel centreline and the wheel axle. It is the reason a shopping cart wheel snaps around on its own rather than waiting to be forced. Extending that offset gives the load a longer lever to swing the wheel into line, so the operator supplies less of the force needed to change direction. On a cart that gets turned constantly, that is where the effort savings add up.
