(KT) Kineti-Glide Trio

Kineti-Glide Trio triple wheel casters divide the tread across three blue polyurethane wheels, each a quarter inch from the next. Three contact patches means no single one carries a punishing load even at the top of the rating — and three wheels turning at their own speed means far less tread scrubbing sideways through a corner.

6″ and 8″ diameters, 2,150 to 3,250 lb, in heavy-duty kingpinless and rigid rigs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a triple wheel caster?

A triple wheel caster carries the load on three wheels mounted side by side on a shared axle, rather than one wide wheel or two. Splitting the tread three ways drops the pressure under each contact patch, which keeps tread deflection low even at full rating, and lets each wheel turn at its own speed through a corner instead of dragging sideways across the floor.

When should I choose Trio over Duo?

When the load is heavy enough that a Duo would be working at the top of its range, when the floor is rough or the cart crosses dock plates and expansion joints, or when you want the lowest push effort per pound carried. Trio runs 2,150 to 3,250 lb against the Duo's 1,500 to 2,400 lb, and at the same wheel diameter it spreads that load over three contact patches instead of two.

What capacities does Kineti-Glide Trio come in?

2,150 lb on 6-inch wheels and 3,250 lb on 8-inch wheels, in both kingpinless swivel and rigid rigs. The 8-inch kingpinless is the highest capacity swivel in the entire Kineti-Glide line.

Is a toe guard available on the Trio?

No. The integrated toe guard is offered on selected Kineti-Glide Duo models only; Trio casters are supplied with top hats. If a toe guard is a requirement for your application, look at the Duo range and check the capacity covers your load, or call us and we will work out what will.
