The Hamaco HLH is a Japanese-built hydraulic push cart with a reputation for not drifting. Hamaco rates hydraulic drift at 2 percent or less of full stroke after 15 minutes holding maximum load – if you have ever come back to a lift cart that sagged overnight, that number is the point of the whole line.
Fourteen models from 176 to 2205 lbs. Table heights run from a 7.9-inch low on the compact HLH-S120 to a 67.9-inch maximum on the HLH-E500MW, which is as tall as anything in this category.

How to Choose the Right Hydraulic Push Cart
Work from capacity, then stroke. The S models are the lighter frames, the E models the heavier ones. W means a long-stroke high-lift version, L means a long 23.6″ x 47.2″ table, M is the standard medium table.
The high-lift models are the ones people miss. The HLH-S80W holds only 176 lbs but strokes 38.2 inches to a 50.4-inch table height, and the HLH-E500MW holds 1102 lbs and reaches 67.9 inches. If working height is the constraint rather than weight, start there.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is hydraulic drift and why does Hamaco mention it?
Drift is the platform settling under load over time. Hamaco holds it to 2 percent or less of full stroke after 15 minutes at maximum load, which is a tighter figure than most lift carts publish.
Which HLH lifts highest?
The HLH-E500MW, to a 67.9-inch table height with a 49.2-inch stroke.
Is there overload protection?
Yes. An overload prevention device stops the lift from elevating when it is overloaded.
What happens if the operator lets go of the lowering handle?
It stops. A springback mechanism in the release handle halts lowering the moment the handle is released.

The Dandy's design is built around the operator: a 180-degree access foot pedal that can be pumped from the side or the back, an oversized lowering handle reachable from any position, and contoured comfort grips. An integrated floor lock holds the cart in place while you work.

How to Choose the Right Portable Scissor Lift Cart
L-150 and L-250 are the light-duty models for totes and small parts. A-500 and A-800 are the medium and heavy-duty models with the wider 23.6-inch platform.
The A-350W is the one to notice: 770 lbs but 36.2 inches of travel to a 49.8-inch raised height. If your operator needs to load something tall, that extra travel is worth more than raw capacity. If loads change as you stack, ask about the self-leveling Dandy Leveler instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Manual Dandy Lift hold?
330 lbs on the L-150 up to 1760 lbs on the A-800.
Which Dandy lifts highest?
The A-350W, at a 49.8-inch raised height with 36.2 inches of vertical travel.
Does it need power?
No. The Manual Dandy runs entirely on a foot pump. Southworth also makes the Powered Dandy if you want push-button operation.
Can the foot pedal be reached from the side?
Yes. The pedal has 180-degree access, so it can be pumped from either side or from behind the unit.
Buying a portable scissor lift cart from B&C Industrial Products
B&C Industrial Products is a material handling distributor in Garrett, Indiana, serving customers nationwide. We stock and quote lift tables, lift carts, positioners, casters, pallet racking and cranes. Every Southworth model on this page is quoted to your configuration, so tell us the load, the platform size and the working height you need and we will spec it.
The Vestil Lift and Tilt Cart with Sequence Select raises a load and then tilts it toward the operator, so parts in a bin or on a pallet come to the worker instead of the worker bending into the bin. A selector lets the operator choose whether the foot pump lifts or tilts, on the same pedal.
Quoted as one configuration: 1000 lb capacity, 35.5" x 19.5" platform, 45 degree tilt, 15" lowered to 32" raised.
Key Features
- Sequence select: one foot pedal lifts, then tilts, without changing pedals
- 45 degree tilt brings the load to the operator
- Two rigid and two swivel polyurethane casters with floor lock
- Steel platform with a formed lip on the low side to hold containers
Common Applications
- Feeding parts from bins and gaylords at a workstation
- Assembly cells where the operator reaches into a container all shift
- Kitting and order picking
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the platform lift without tilting?
Yes. The sequence selector lets the operator lift only, or lift and then tilt.
Does it need power?
No. Lift and tilt are both foot-pump hydraulic.
