Who Presto Lifts Is, and Why We Carry Them
Presto Lifts Inc. has built hydraulic lifting equipment for more than 70 years and has made a full line of lifts and stackers since 1977. Scissor lift tables for industrial use joined the line by 1990. Presto builds its equipment at its plant in Manila, Arkansas, with a corporate office in Foxborough, Massachusetts. It has been part of Southworth International Group since 2002, which makes it a sister company to Southworth.
Presto says it offers more than 500 different models of lifts, tables and tilters, which it calls more than any other company in the world. In late 2016 ECOA Industrial Products became part of the Presto Lifts family, adding larger-capacity and custom-designed equipment to the range. The ECOA tradition goes back to 1960. That is why the ECOA lifts we carry are listed under Presto on our site.
We handle the application side: matching the right Presto lift table, tilter, pallet positioner or stacker to your load, your floor and your power, then quoting it with freight or local delivery included and supporting it after it arrives. Pneumatic Lifts
Lifts that run on shop air
Presto’s AX, AXS, AXR, AXSR, AXT and AT lines lift on heavy-duty airbags instead of hydraulics. They need no electricity, just shop air (80 PSI at 15 CFM on the AX, AXS and AXR), and there is no hydraulic fluid to leak into your process. The Airstroke actuator carries a lifetime limited warranty.

From 300 lb carts to 120,000 lb lifts
The range runs from the XP24-300 foot-pump cart at 300 lbs up to the ECOA Magnum MLTQD at 120,000 lbs. Presto says it offers more than 500 models of lifts, tables and tilters, more than any other company in the world. For you, that means one manufacturer can usually cover both the light cart and the heavy-duty table.

Pneumatic & Floor-Level Lift Tables
Two ways to make a lift easier to load. A pneumatic lift table runs on shop air with no electricity and no hydraulic fluid near the product. A floor-level or low-profile table lowers almost flush with the floor, so a pallet jack can roll a load straight on without a forklift.

Tilt Tables, Container Tilters & Upenders
Presto says it builds over 10 styles of tilters. A tilt table or container tilter angles a bin or pallet toward the worker so they can reach the bottom without climbing in. An upender turns a load a full 90 degrees, standing a roll or coil up from flat. Lift and tilt tables do both jobs: raise the load, then angle it.

Presto Pallet Positioners & Turntables
A pallet positioner keeps the top of the load at a comfortable height while boxes go on or come off, so nobody bends to the bottom layer. Presto builds them in three styles: spring (no power or air), airbag (a one-time air charge, then unplug and move it) and powered (115V with a foot control). The P3 models have a turntable top so the worker spins the pallet instead of walking around it.

Presto Stackers & Lifter Transporters
Presto has built stackers since 1977. A stacker lifts a pallet or skid onto a rack or bench without a forklift, which suits tight aisles and smaller shops where a forklift is more machine than the job needs. Presto builds them from push-and-pump manual units up to the fully powered PowerStak.

Pneumatic or hydraulic lift table: which should I buy?
A pneumatic lift table (Presto AX or AXS) runs on shop air at 80 PSI, needs no electricity and keeps hydraulic fluid away from the product, but travel is short, about 21 to 24 inches. A hydraulic lift table (Presto XL) needs an electric power unit but gives you 24 to 60 inches of travel and platforms up to 48 × 120 inches. Short ergonomic lifts at a station point to pneumatic; higher lifts and bigger platforms point to hydraulic.
What is the heaviest lift Presto builds?
The ECOA Magnum MLTQD, a double-wide, double-long scissor lift rated from 50,000 to 120,000 lbs. The single MLT runs 15,000 to 30,000 lbs, and the MLTDL and MLTDW run 25,000 to 60,000 lbs. On the light end, the XP24-300 foot-pump cart lifts 300 lbs.
Can I get Presto lift parts through B&C?
Yes. Presto stocks standard replacement parts and ships them in 24 to 48 hours. Send us the model and serial number from the unit’s tag and a photo of the part, and we will get it quoted.
What warranty comes with a Presto lift table?
On standard Presto products, the welded structural frame and scissor legs are covered for 5 years and all other components for 2 years, both from the invoice date, with 30 days of limited labor. Pneumatic lifts carry a lifetime limited warranty on the Airstroke actuator. PowerStak stackers have separate terms: 1 year on the frame and main components and 90 days on wear items.

Yes. Presto’s Quick Ship program ships popular models in one week or less, including hydraulic lift tables, DC electric and foot-pump carts, post tables, pallet positioners, floor-mount turntables and some stackers. Which Presto P3 pallet positioner do I need?
It depends on power and control. The P3 Spring needs no power or air. The P3 Airbag runs on a one-time air charge, then can be disconnected and moved. Both rise on their own as the load gets lighter. The P3 powered hydraulic model runs on 115V with a foot control, 2,000 or 4,000 lbs, so the operator sets the exact height. All three have a turntable top.
Does Presto make stackers and dock lifts?
Yes. Presto builds the PowerStak fully powered stacker (2,600 lbs at a 24 in. load center), manual-drive power-lift stackers from 1,000 to 2,700 lbs, and manual stackers up to 2,000 lbs. Its dock lifts include the PDL Series (5,000 to 20,000 lbs) and the ECOA HLD SizzrDok (8,000 to 12,000 lbs). We don’t list these on the site yet, but we quote them.
How much does a Presto lift table cost?
Too many variables to publish a fair number. Capacity, travel, platform size, power and options like toe guards or bellows all move the price. Send us the load, the height and the platform size and we will quote it, with LTL freight or local delivery included.
