The Vestil Tilt Master lifts, moves and tilts containers, bins and pallet loads in one machine. It tilts the load up to 90 degrees, so the operator can reach the contents without bending deep into a box. Vestil positions it as a practical alternative to a forklift or a fixed lift table.
There are two frames. The TM models have fixed forks for skids and open-bottom pallets. The TMS straddle models have forks that adjust from 1/2 to 28-1/2 inches inside, so they handle pallets as well as skids. Both come in 2000, 4000 and 6000 lb capacities with AC, 12V DC or air/oil power, and DC models can add a power traction drive.

- AC, 12V DC and air/oil power options
- Optional portable traction drive (PTDS models) to reduce push effort
- Phenolic wheels with swivel and rigid casters; hand-operated floor lock
- Options include chutes, battery upgrades and control pedestals

- Positioning containers for inspection
How to Choose the Right Portable Pallet Tilter
Start with what the load sits on. If it is on a skid or an open-bottom pallet, the fixed-fork TM is the compact choice with a 7-1/4 in. operator reach. If you handle standard pallets or mixed containers, the TMS straddle adjusts its forks to fit, at the cost of a longer 13-1/2 in. reach.
Then pick power. AC models plug into a 115V circuit, DC models run on a 12V battery for use away from outlets, and AIR models run from plant air/oil with a foot control. If operators move full loads over distance, the DC-PTDS models add a power traction drive.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far does the Tilt Master tilt?
Up to 90 degrees, according to Vestil.
What is the difference between TM and TMS?
TM has fixed forks (26 or 27 in. outside) for skids and open-bottom pallets. TMS is a straddle design with forks that adjust from 1/2 to 28-1/2 in. inside for pallets or skids.
What power options are there?
115V AC, 12V DC and air/oil. DC models are also offered with a foot control (FC) or a power traction drive (PTDS).
Is there a floor lock?
Yes. Vestil says to engage the caster locks and the hand-operated floor lock before using the tilt.

The Southworth Manual Dandy Lift is a portable foot-pump scissor lift cart. Five models run from the 330 lb L-150 up to the 1760 lb A-800, and the high-lift A-350W reaches 49.8 inches.
The Dandy's design is built around the operator: a 180-degree access foot pedal that can be pumped from the side or the back, an oversized lowering handle reachable from any position, and contoured comfort grips. An integrated floor lock holds the cart in place while you work.

How to Choose the Right Portable Scissor Lift Cart
L-150 and L-250 are the light-duty models for totes and small parts. A-500 and A-800 are the medium and heavy-duty models with the wider 23.6-inch platform.
The A-350W is the one to notice: 770 lbs but 36.2 inches of travel to a 49.8-inch raised height. If your operator needs to load something tall, that extra travel is worth more than raw capacity. If loads change as you stack, ask about the self-leveling Dandy Leveler instead.
Frequently Asked Questions

330 lbs on the L-150 up to 1760 lbs on the A-800.
Which Dandy lifts highest?
The A-350W, at a 49.8-inch raised height with 36.2 inches of vertical travel.

Buying a portable scissor lift cart from B&C Industrial Products
B&C Industrial Products is a material handling distributor in Garrett, Indiana, serving customers nationwide. Every Southworth model on this page is quoted to your configuration, so tell us the load, the platform size and the working height you need and we will spec it.
The Vestil Lift and Tilt Cart with Sequence Select raises a load and then tilts it toward the operator, so parts in a bin or on a pallet come to the worker instead of the worker bending into the bin. A selector lets the operator choose whether the foot pump lifts or tilts, on the same pedal.
Quoted as one configuration: 1000 lb capacity, 35.5" x 19.5" platform, 45 degree tilt, 15" lowered to 32" raised.
Key Features
- Sequence select: one foot pedal lifts, then tilts, without changing pedals
- 45 degree tilt brings the load to the operator
- Two rigid and two swivel polyurethane casters with floor lock
- Steel platform with a formed lip on the low side to hold containers
Common Applications
- Feeding parts from bins and gaylords at a workstation
- Assembly cells where the operator reaches into a container all shift
- Kitting and order picking
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the platform lift without tilting?
Yes. The sequence selector lets the operator lift only, or lift and then tilt.
Does it need power?
No. Lift and tilt are both foot-pump hydraulic.
