Description

In a material handling environment, equipment that’s cast as one piece holds up better than equipment bolted together. The 41UX80JO64174Y puts a steel barrier between the wheel and the foot. It’s an 8-inch Ultraflex polyurethane kingpinless swivel caster, with the toe guard cast directly into the yoke as part of the casting.

Cast as one piece of steel from the foundry, the toe guard inherits the structural strength of the yoke itself. There is no welded joint and no fastener in the load path — the protection is part of the caster geometry.

Ultraflex pairs a Shore A 80 polyurethane tread with an aluminum core for an ergonomic ride. At 8 inches, capacity runs up to 1,200 lbs, with a working temperature range of -50°F to 180°F.

Traditional swivel casters fail at the kingpin — lateral force walks the kingpin loose and the rig starts to wobble. The 41-series doesn’t have a kingpin to lose. A double-row raceway hardened against shock load, an ASTM45 CNC-machined steel housing, and a 1/4-inch top plate carry the load through both swivel and travel. The extended swivel radius on the 6-inch and 8-inch frames clears tight turns without binding.
