8″ Polyflexon Rigid Caster with Integrated Toe Guard – 28UA80JO64174Y

Description

On any plant floor, foot protection works best when it’s built into the caster, not added on top. The 28UA80JO64174Y puts a steel barrier between the wheel and the foot. It’s an 8-inch Polyflexon polyurethane rigid caster, with the toe guard cast directly into the yoke as part of the casting.

Because the guard is part of the yoke casting, it stays with the caster for the life of the caster. There is nothing to loosen, nothing to fall off, and nothing to misplace during a caster swap.

Polyflexon is the harder of our polyurethane wheel options — Shore A 95 tread on an aluminum core, donut-pattern grip. 8-inch diameter, up to 1,200 lbs, -40°F to 180°F.

Mounted on the rear corners of a cart, the 28-series rigid holds direction while the 27-series swivels lead the cart through turns. The pairing gives operators a cart that steers cleanly and tracks straight under load instead of crabbing sideways. Double ball raceway, 5/8-inch kingpin, grease fitting for maintainability, bright zinc finish, NSF listed.
