Southworth LST Series Tandem Lifts place two scissor mechanisms end to end under one long platform. They give a level rise for long loads such as lumber, pipe, sheet, bar stock and assemblies.

LST lifts are often used as feeding tables for tube welders, formers and panel saws, and for bundling and banding. The tandem design combines high capacity with a low collapsed height, supporting loads up to 7′ x 17′. Southworth lists 24 standard models on standard and wide bases.

How to Choose the Right Tandem Scissor Lift Table

Start with the length of your load. The -36 models use 96″ long platforms, the -48 models 128″ and the -60 models 172″. Maximum platform lengths reach 120″, 168″ and 204″ respectively.

Then pick width and capacity. Standard LST models start at 24″ wide; LST-W wide base models start at 36″ or 54″ wide. Capacities run 4000 to 12000 lbs across all three travels.
