Customization

SPANCO now offers portable bases for enclosed track jib cranes. These bases are easily moved with a forklift so the crane can be located at any convenient location on the factory floor. Three different base weights are used depending on the size and capacity of the crane. SPANCO selects the enclosed track workstation jib crane base to prevent tipping and to keep shipping costs to a minimum

Design Factor

The maximum weight of the application should match, NOT exceed, the workstation jib crane design weight. The capacity rating is based on a design load which includes the capacity rating of the crane plus 15% of the capacity for the weight of the host and trolley. The SPANCO design criteria for workstation jib cranes allows the least amounts of lifting deflection, so as not to hamper the performance of the enclosed track jib crane.
