The Autoquip AutoTilt Portable Tilter is built to load and unload containers and then carry them from one workstation to the next. It keeps small parts within reach as a container is filled or emptied, so the work stays in the operator’s ergonomic power zone.
Autoquip describes the current AutoTilt as portable and battery operated, so one tilter can serve several workstations without an outlet or a shop air line. The AutoTilt manual lists two models, rated 2000 and 4000 lbs, both with an 89 degree tilt angle and 42 inch forks.
Autoquip AutoTilt Portable Tilter Specifications

| STR 89-40 | 4000 lbs | 89 deg | 42″ | – | 675 lbs | 20 sec |
Values are from the AutoTilt manual (item 830STR); confirm the current battery-powered configuration with Autoquip when quoting.

How to Choose the Right Portable Container Tilter
Both AutoTilt models share the same 89 degree tilt, 42 inch forks, 675 lb unit weight and 20 second raise time. The only published difference is capacity: 2000 lbs for the STR 89-20 and 4000 lbs for the STR 89-40.
Choose by the heaviest loaded container you plan to move and tilt. If your containers are close to 2000 lbs when full, the STR 89-40 gives you margin. Confirm the power configuration with Autoquip, since the older manual lists air and AC power units while the current page describes battery operation.

The Southworth Manual Dandy Lift is a portable foot-pump scissor lift cart. Five models run from the 330 lb L-150 up to the 1760 lb A-800, and the high-lift A-350W reaches 49.8 inches.
The Dandy's design is built around the operator: a 180-degree access foot pedal that can be pumped from the side or the back, an oversized lowering handle reachable from any position, and contoured comfort grips. An integrated floor lock holds the cart in place while you work.

How to Choose the Right Portable Scissor Lift Cart
L-150 and L-250 are the light-duty models for totes and small parts. A-500 and A-800 are the medium and heavy-duty models with the wider 23.6-inch platform.
The A-350W is the one to notice: 770 lbs but 36.2 inches of travel to a 49.8-inch raised height. If your operator needs to load something tall, that extra travel is worth more than raw capacity. If loads change as you stack, ask about the self-leveling Dandy Leveler instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Manual Dandy Lift hold?
330 lbs on the L-150 up to 1760 lbs on the A-800.
Which Dandy lifts highest?
The A-350W, at a 49.8-inch raised height with 36.2 inches of vertical travel.
Does it need power?
No. The Manual Dandy runs entirely on a foot pump. Southworth also makes the Powered Dandy if you want push-button operation.
Can the foot pedal be reached from the side?
Yes. The pedal has 180-degree access, so it can be pumped from either side or from behind the unit.
Buying a portable scissor lift cart from B&C Industrial Products
B&C Industrial Products is a material handling distributor in Garrett, Indiana, serving customers nationwide. We stock and quote lift tables, lift carts, positioners, casters, pallet racking and cranes. Every Southworth model on this page is quoted to your configuration, so tell us the load, the platform size and the working height you need and we will spec it.
The Vestil Lift and Tilt Cart with Sequence Select raises a load and then tilts it toward the operator, so parts in a bin or on a pallet come to the worker instead of the worker bending into the bin. A selector lets the operator choose whether the foot pump lifts or tilts, on the same pedal.
Quoted as one configuration: 1000 lb capacity, 35.5" x 19.5" platform, 45 degree tilt, 15" lowered to 32" raised.
Key Features
- Sequence select: one foot pedal lifts, then tilts, without changing pedals
- 45 degree tilt brings the load to the operator
- Two rigid and two swivel polyurethane casters with floor lock
- Steel platform with a formed lip on the low side to hold containers
Common Applications
- Feeding parts from bins and gaylords at a workstation
- Assembly cells where the operator reaches into a container all shift
- Kitting and order picking
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the platform lift without tilting?
Yes. The sequence selector lets the operator lift only, or lift and then tilt.
Does it need power?
No. Lift and tilt are both foot-pump hydraulic.
