Advance Lifts SD Series super duty scissor lift tables are a step up from the HD Series. Many are modified dock lifts, so their edge load ratings are a higher share of capacity than on smaller lifts.

Every model has 58 inches of travel. Capacities run from 5000 to 20000 lbs on platforms from 6 x 8 feet to 8 x 12 feet, with 5 or 7-1/2 HP motors.

How to Choose the Right Super Duty Scissor Lift Table

Capacity sets the base and lowered height. The 5000 lb models lower to 10 inches, 8000 and 10000 lb models to 15 inches, 12000 and 15000 lb models to 16-1/2 inches, 18000 lb to 18 inches and 20000 lb to 20 inches. Plan for a pit or ramp if loading from the floor.

Then pick the platform: 6, 7 or 8 feet wide and 8 to 10 feet long (5000 to 10000 lbs) or 10 to 12 feet long (12000 lbs and up).
