Description

On any plant floor, foot protection works best when it’s built into the caster, not added on top. The 28UX50JO64174Y puts a steel barrier between the wheel and the foot. It’s a 5-inch Ultraflex polyurethane rigid caster, with the toe guard cast directly into the yoke as part of the casting.

Because the guard is part of the yoke casting, it stays with the caster for the life of the caster. There is nothing to loosen, nothing to fall off, and nothing to misplace during a caster swap.

Ultraflex pairs a Shore A 80 polyurethane tread with an aluminum core for an ergonomic ride. At 5 inches, capacity runs up to 900 lbs, with a working temperature range of -50°F to 180°F.

Mounted on the rear corners of a cart, the 28-series rigid holds direction while the 27-series swivels lead the cart through turns. The pairing gives operators a cart that steers cleanly and tracks straight under load instead of crabbing sideways. Double ball raceway, 5/8-inch kingpin, grease fitting for maintainability, bright zinc finish, NSF listed.
