Description

Material handling environments are hard on casters, and the rig has to hold up to all of it. The 41UA50JO64174Y puts a steel barrier between the wheel and the foot. It’s a 5-inch Polyflexon polyurethane kingpinless swivel caster, with the toe guard cast directly into the yoke as part of the casting.

The toe guard is part of the yoke geometry rather than a piece bolted to it. The structural connection is the casting itself — one continuous piece of steel from the mounting plate to the guard.

Polyflexon is the harder of our polyurethane wheel options — Shore A 95 tread on an aluminum core, donut-pattern grip. 5-inch diameter, up to 900 lbs, -40°F to 180°F.

Traditional swivel casters fail at the kingpin — lateral force walks the kingpin loose and the rig starts to wobble. The 41-series doesn’t have a kingpin to lose. A double-row raceway hardened against shock load, an ASTM45 CNC-machined steel housing, and a 1/4-inch top plate carry the load through both swivel and travel.
