4″ Polyflexon Rigid Caster with Integrated Toe Guard – 28UA40JO63174Y

Description

In a warehouse, carts run cycles all day, and the casters underneath carry every pound through every shift. The 28UA40JO63174Y puts a steel barrier between the wheel and the foot. It’s a 4-inch Polyflexon polyurethane rigid caster, with the toe guard cast directly into the yoke as part of the casting.

Foot protection comes built into the caster, formed as part of the steel during casting. No add-on bracket, no second component, and no extra fastener anywhere in the design.

The 4-inch Polyflexon wheel uses a Shore A 95 flex-compound polyurethane on a heavy aluminum core. The donut-pattern tread holds up under repeated load while keeping a stable contact patch. Rated up to 900 lbs, -40°F to 180°F.

The 28-series rigid frame is the fixed-position mate to our 27-series kingpin swivels. Run 28 rigids on the trailing corners and 27 swivels on the leading corners for a cart set that tracks straight under load and steers cleanly at the corners. Bright zinc finish standard, NSF listed, with a 5/8-inch kingpin construction, double ball raceway, and grease fitting for long service intervals.
